re: contrary indicator The so called experts are the best contrary indicator. Buy means they have a client that wants out. Hold or sell means they want to scare the shit out of you to sell. Fark em. they are in it for the bonuses nothing else other than to make money for the firm thru commissions and underwriting... What a joke. QCOM going to the roof. HAha just kidding!

I think ML just wanted some cheap shares. GLW has a 12 month backlog, so what if they have a few slow months? I was a buyer today, it may not be the bottom, but I was thrilled to be able to buy at these prices. If I read ML's downgrade correctly, they maintain a long term buy and still think it'll double in 18 months. FWIW, ML sounds like another robber baron to me.
