Alan,

Basically this PDT designation calls for 25K in a PDT account and will allow that person 4:1 intraday margin correct? Is there any limit on how many times one can turn his account over per day (ie: buying and selling 1000 shares of XYZ 100 times per day)?

Just trying to make sense of these rules.

Leland

Okay. That really makes no sense to me but I believe it. I thought we were in America, not Russia. As long as you don't use margin, what business is it of anyone's what you do with your money?

As for tying privates to a tree, no can do in my case <G>

I'm fine. Learned last year to live on quarters and halves so just trucking along . . . .
