gem-x: Welcome to the thread, your e-wave contributions will be welcome.

it's the holy grail of all Techincal Analysis

Let me give you a little advice, IMO there is NO HOLY GRAIL for Technical Analysis...nothing works in isolation...and yes I have the "Elliott Wave Principle" by Frost and Prechter....since the late eighties.

I personally choose to not use "elliot wave" in my work...<g>

gem, I have no doubt that an Elliott waves discipline might be good, but I have been puzzled for th last seven years, how the high priest of the E-Wave, Pretcher, could have been so consistently wrong. What was the reason behind his failure?

Ted,
Thanks very much for the reply. Very inspiring and humorous
(twilight zone, head exploding)! Going to follow your recommendation as I feel there's no such thing as too many technical analysis tools, especially considering your impressive display of it's use on Dr. Bob.
I hope to see many more of your posts here on MDD, my very favorite thread here on S.I.
Thanks again!
Regards,
Eichler
