A herd of elk frequented a certain golf course out on the Oregon Coast. They were so bothersome a certain state agency collaborated with a certain federal agency to capture and release them a certain distance from the golf course. The elk were unable to find food under the snow in their new surroundings soon starved. Every last one of them.

Some were able to avoid capture and repopulated the golf course. Golfers must take care where they step.

Let me understand this correctly, a golf course is more environmentally destructive than a domed football stadium and a paved parking lot? Is that correct? That must explain why people love to live near golf courses and not football stadiums and their parking lots. They like a bad environment,eh?
