Depends on how much fuss you made as you leave. For some reason, the folks on the plane don't like to listen to anyone on the ground. >>What are the assurances that everyone will stay in the plane all the way to the soft landing?<< There are no assurances, and the plane (plus all aboard at the time) will experience a hard landing. Because that's what happens with pilotless planes except on the movies. Those who 'chute out early land soft. Cheers, John
