Mark: Why do these guys continue to sell and sell?

What do you mean "continue"?

You (and one or two others) have posted numerous times about it in the last month. NO new forms have been filed since then! (or, at least, they have not been updated on Yahoo's site).

There's always some amount of insider selling. Heck, Andy Bryant of Intel unloaded 144k shares last month! And filed for sale of 144k more!

FYI: Over the last 6 months, only half a percent of insider shares have been sold (AMD).

In any event, insider holdings on AMD is unusually high. 27% according to your source. The corresponding number for Intel is 7%.

Putting this number further into perspective: NVDA: 27%, ATYT: 17%, SUNW: 3%, IBM: 1%, CSCO: 2%, CPQ: 2%, DELL: 23%

Looking at the other high-insider stocks, 0.7% of DELL insider shares were unloaded in the past 6 months (0.5% for AMD). 3.3% of insider shares for NVDA. No information available on ATYT (ATI Technologies)... maybe because it's based in Canada?

All in all: Insider selling in AMD is NOT unreasonably high. On par compared to DELL and significantly below NVDA.
