Zeev, cpi core out at .1% while expectation was .2%; do you think with the recent downdraft and so much negativity; hi put activity; and maybe better or no lower btob, next week; that a short rally is in order? Do you think that with all the negativity and vix vxn moving up; that a rally can be sustained thru Monday-- since the Fed may have more room to cut than previously thought-- or are we in for a dip to the april lows and below--for the less agile group do you feel sell the rally if it happens or hold for extension into next week; the cliches are endless : dont fight the tape vs. the markets always prove the majority wrong

The best formula out there was the Black Sholes formula for options. History will tell you with the demise of Long term Capital Management that , that formula, as much research that went into it, came up short.

I am a heavy advocate of all the psychological indicators. The P/C, vix and trin fall into that category. I have never mixed the tick with the trin. I believe the tick is a good tool to time the low, the last indicator to go sort of, when timing a bottom only. I find it has little value above 500.

But, sometimes it just comes down to the feel. I can't put a number on that.

Sabre!
