I would add to you comment that perhaps folks are beginning to wonder *WHICH* companies will still be AROUND when the next 'boom' hits.

I agree, Mike. I don't believe the end will be today, tomorrow or next week, but I suspect that by the end of summer we'll likely see a reversal in the down trend. I have no idea how to play this market in the short or medium term, but for a long range outlook there are bargains to be found.

I'm not prepared to jump in with both feet yet, but over the next few weeks I'll nibble here and there at those companies that are likely to be around and thriving in the years to come. In my mind JDSU is one of them.

All I do know for sure is that I've lost more than I could possibly have imagined at this time last year.
