Thank you for an honest assessment. Personally, I don't regard going bullish two weeks early as a bad record, although I recognize how difficult it would have been to stay the course in the atmosphere of fear that prevailed during that period.

GTC - Regarding your post on Zeev's track record - one of the finest I've read on SI. Not only well-thought-out but extremely well-written.

I agree with your opinion; I just follow his long term calls and act accordingly. E.G., I'll rebuy the stocks I sold over the past couple months next week when/if the Nasdaq drops to around 1900 and sell just before the FOMC meeting and then buy again in Aug or October. I've done a heckuva lot better following that kind of strategy over the past 6 months than my previous LTBH approach.

And if you're interested in a Zeev anecdote, a few months ago a friend and I went to Brussels for a weekend to experience their art of brewing beer for a newspaper article. Knowing Zeev was originally from Belgium I asked him via PM if he had any suggestions. He graciously replied that he didn't really know much about it, but that his impression was the their specialty was lambic and gueuze. I'd never heard of them before, but wouldn't you know it, seeking them out and sampling them was the highlight of the trip.
