I have a question for you if you look at Japan and debt as the cause of their recession, then look at us and anticipate increased debt on top of that which has already reduced the value of balance sheets, where are we?
Yes debt is good when it has a value of growth and creates an increase in potential as well as profit. However when you see numerous companies trying to retrench and reduce expenditures to create a profit it is totally contradictory to increase debt when numerous balance sheets are stating that the debt factor has started to exceed the potential value.

<<So where you gonna put your dough? The almighty US dollah, the greenback>>

Very optimistic indeed. You forgot to add few things to your message. US will face soon unemployment and strong $ will mean well into double digits numbers of people without job, which will lead to budget deficit. Be ready for the collapse of the financial system.
McDonalds and Nortel - does it tell you anything? How long it will take for the banks to be in the mess?
