hg48,

Keep in mind that there is a very small minority that causes the lions share of the trouble at most public gatherings. This small group is usually the most vocal & violent, so they get a disproportionate amount of attention........ which is usually what they are seeking. It is no different on the internet.

IMO, there was no good reason for bobby nor bia to attack you the way they did. I doubt they gave it much thought other than they knew it would draw significant attention their way.

BTW, the porch is not ruined IMVHO. Sure it has been unmercifully attacked by ignorant SOB's & Volt's is on a sabbatical. This market has humbled a lot of fine folks......... mostly perma-bulls......... including some of Wall Street's finest & most well known names.......... and this market has brought out the absolute worst in some folks who refuse to look inward for reasons why their portfolios were decimated.......... which might explain why there have been so many threads assaulted lately.

In any event, the Porch still has some very fine folks there who continue to try to help each other & learn about the market.

Ö¿Ö

There are so few people that attack compared to all the ones that support.
(Well yes on SOME things I'm an optimist).

Why do you think when I reached "critical mass" last Jan (as much money as I needed for my lifetime) I didn't cash out? And let it all dissapate over the ensuing months? It has made me so out of confidence I am afraid of my decisions now.
