Ex-Health and Human Services Secretary Donna Shalala has been invited to join Coral Gables' tony Riviera Country Club, where she leap-frogged over some 180 people waiting to get in, reports the Miami Herald this week. University of Miami UM has agreed to pick up Shalala's country club dues of nearly $40,000 per year. Asked when she intended to invite her country club-deprived ex-boss down for a chip shot or two, Shalala advised that Clinton shouldn't hold his breath.
