As i said earlier, market will be all over the place today. This is a classic overreaction to one sector and general disappointment over European veto of US mergers. In effect this GE thing is #2 as Europe effectively blocked wcom/sprint. There is a downside to globalization. Europeans believe in socialism for smaller companies. Let the chips fall where we want them to is their motto. US nationalism might reassert itself too because of all this Bush bashing in Europe. It is unseemly. They are so f....ng smug. mike
