Do not blame Mr Bush for this one please. Talk to the FED on what is and isn't good monetary policy. Talk to the SEC about the ruler that bends.

Can't you just see the Wall S.t/media strategists chomping at the bit for Bush to say anything they can use as a headline for the DOW's collapse? I think Bush is playing this the only way he can - don't say anything encouraging about the market (like Clinton always did by at least walking the market floor) and most importantly don't say anything bad. It will fall on Wall St. of its own weight like the Nasdaq. Fundamentals supporting this market haven't existed for years, and even J6P is feeling conned about waiting for the next quarter or the one after that...
