I agree the market, and owning stocks, is no longer enjoyable. What especially worries me is that if enough people feel that way, we won't ever be able to have a strong bull market again.

Unfortunately, i think you are exactly right. not never again, but it may be SEVERAL YEARS, MAYBE A DECADE

I do not feel good about this.

Why is owning stocks not enjoyable?

"The Fed said U.S. factories, mines and utilities operated in May at their slowest pace in more than 17 years. U.S. industrial capacity in use fell to 77.4 percent, the lowest since August 1983, when it was at 77.0 percent, the Fed said."

I'll answer a question with a question: Why would one want to own growth stocks as the economy slides deeper into recession?
There will be better days. When? Stay tuned.
