PS nice to see you on the Doomsday thread LOL.

Yeah, I'm a total SI junkie. I opened my mouth once, and now I can't shut it. :)

all my buddies laughed and laughed at me dumping my NT +100 a looooong time ago when I was adding more energy.

Hi Kastel

How much would you pay for Nortel now? The market cap fell from $400 to $50 billion in less then a year, a second quarter loss of $20 billion? Do you think it’s time to do some bottom fishing?

From all of the news stories I’ve read about NT, with it’s accounting problems, record losses, disingenuous CEO, and the possibility of a reverse split to shake off the “penny stock” status. I don’t believe the bottom has yet to arrived.

Would you know what the average dividend yield is for the TSE? With inflation hitting a 10 year high, would there be any reason to hold a stock that didn’t pay out a dividend that equaled the inflation rate?

Anyway… Nice trade!
