Ox,

>>so I haven't followed that closely, but did the CLX signal a sell so someone following it could have seen this impending 38% retrace from the recent high? just trying to figure out if it's worth spending time picking it up to help gauge short to intermediate term swings<<

Not to my knowledge....! No clear signal...!

da Cheif uses a combination of about 12 different indicators to determine his trades. His well schooled intuition seems to "just Know" when the right time is come to exit or enter. [ewaves.., cycles.., RSI.., Arms.., OBV.., CLX.., CLXpp.., AYDIS.., 60 min CLX.., PC Ratios.., etc]

If you've ever called his holine, you'd know he's an excellent swing trader.

But as a stand alone indicator the CLX did not set off any alarms, and I haven't yet discovered any subtle pattern in the graphs I've set up to announce such an alarm. But that might change...!
