kevin, Thanks. Sounds like the accurate scenario although I'd guess Crowe had a bigger role in understanding the future of communications. Gates probably just agreed. When will all the bandwidth get used. Don't know. Sure is slow and painful getting broadband to the home. Just moved recently and I have no option even though 1 miles away I had good DSL. RCNC is only in a few localized spots. Others can't help though I do have one option at home for ONLY $100 per month. Not worth that at home. Can't say if LVLT will survive but .... I do think they will. Walter Scott came through to help RCNC recently. The future will just develop slowly. The Y2K situation made a bubble that we're still recovering from. later, leroyt
