The 2004 Leaps are now available. The 25's have traded at 1.75 to 2.00 today. If GX is $50 in January 2004, the Leaps would be 10-baggers+. I suspect they'll be much more.

you seem to think that GX did not give off a cautious vibe this week, even dbab wrote what was for them a cautious note, exds heading for zero, global recession looms, corporate spending declining, need i go on?

Very helpful post. I think the $64,000 question here is to what degree will IRU sales shift to leases, that is (if correct) a substanitive change in the business model. So determining if that is a valid issue or not is of great importance. That has a potentially large effect on the timing of cash flows, which in turn will affect the stock price and credit statistics. There are seemingly some very well informed people on this thread who might like to take a crack at it. Robert? Bill? Frank C ?This is certainly not the only major issue but I think its one of the top 3-5 issues. There are other as important, the viability of competitors, if the competitors go bankrupt who buys them? a current players or new player? what then becomes their new cost structure? how does that affect the other players pricing? How accurate are mgt's projections? (one has to question how ANY MANAGEMENT team can forecast in this tulmultous, unchartered enviorment) I disagree with many views on this thread that management is being misleading. I believe many events are out of their control...they have charted a course for the company, set sail and have hit some very dangerous weather...they are plowing ahead making decisions and trying to advance forward and controlling what they can....this is terra incognita (sp?). I believe at the end of the day this ship will reach a safe harbor but it is gut wrenching to see some ships go down(TSIX), while others are listing badly (LVLT). So,while I am keeping my eye on the lifeboats, and feeling a bit queezy I believe that GX will be battered but still sailing when this storm subsides.
