[EDIT: OT]Jumping without parachutes... I am reminded of a screen saver floating around a long time ago. Was called "bungee cows". Showed them jumping from above the top of the screen with bungee cords tied to their legs. Mostly they would boing up and down in the middle of the screen. But randomly, the cord might snap or the leg might come off and you would hear this "moooooo.... splat" implying they hit the ground somewhere below the bottom of the screen... You could set it for people too, but the screams were annoying to co-workers. ... hardly a "soft landing" [EDIT: OK, I admit that this is gallows humor, but if we don't laugh we've got to cry] John.
