That's actually not the case, for your information. Only LIBERAL historians make the false distinction of "right" and "left" among totalitarians. And while our corrupted-to-the-core universities are dominated by tenured liberals, it doesn't change the fact that they have a vested interest in rigging the definitions. The media, of course, follows them like sheep..

The problem with the old poles, of the "left side of the Assembly" and the "right side of the Assembly" do not fit in any meaningful sense the ideologies they purport to explain. Socialism and Communism are "leftist" and yet they espouse centralized control of political, economic, and social spheres. Freedom and rights of individuals are hardly compatible. While the old definition of the "right" as Monarchists - the preservation of noblesse and obedience to the King - hardly fits capitalism, limited and distrusted government, and personal liberty. If you are to associate Socialism and Communism with the Left, then Nazism STILL must be put on the left, because it lies in direct contradiction to Classical Liberalism on the center Right. Derek
