elmatador:

You have continually shown a complete lack of understanding of this company. I laugh when I look at ALA in light of our conversation six or so months ago. You problem is that you are Euro-centric and have little clue what goes on here in the States, where broadband policy is headed. Access is clearly not dead. Access is what it is about in the States, particularly on the consumer/residential side. This is AFCI's niche. The market is far from mature; AFCI is extremely well-positioned having locked up contracts with SBC and VZ. LU has a recent deal with Q. I believe BLS uses Marconi's technology. No wonder NT got out of the business. It no longer has the inside track it once did, and on a micro-economic level must identify the more lucrative business IN ITS PORTFOLIO of business. NT's decision is by no means a reflection on the niche AFCI occupies.

Did you see AFCI's earnings day before and 18 % price rise yesterday - that is not a sign of a company going belly up in a lousy market is it?
