Cooliebayev: Would we oil barons sell for US$15.32?

1. Using 1C$=US$0.651806 (today's close), the C$23.50 high end of Peters & Company's independent valuation range converts into a fair market value of US$15.32.

2. Interestingly, our latest edition of the WHO'S WHO INTERNATIONAL, at that time (Oct. 5, 2000) a survey of 13 long-time followers of HHLA, predicted an average value of C$23.70=US$15.70! (Currency exchange fluctuates).

3. The full report is supposed to be released by Friday, so we do not know precisely what will be counted later. It is a safe assumption that only bare, previously announced bones have been included. I missed today's webcast of the presentation in Calgary, perhaps more has been doled out.

4. I think of this valuation as a warm-up, which will gradually gather steam during the summer and end with a tropical finale under the palm trees.
