if you could do it and rent for 1 - 2 yrs you would make quite bit, but is it worth the hastle, but if you might be moving anyway ...

Thanks. Minneapolis is a great place, diverse economic base, nice people. I visited Omaha last year, similar story. Parts of the country still doing just fine.
