If the income tax were replaced with a tax bringing in equivalent revenue, no problem. If not, big problem. The gov't will come down on you like a 100 tons of bricks. And you will get strong opposition from many of your fellow citizens out here- -the ones who benefit from the mega-state. There are currently a great many of them. What you are talking about is taking the bread and circuses away from the mon AFTER THEY HAVE BECOME ACCUSTOMED TO THEM. Good luck. You're going to need it.
