Ummm, you evidently aren't familiar with Pugs, are you? Zwebner actually let him get off easy. He was absolutely, 100% guilty of libel, slander, and hallucinations. He could have had OJ's lawyers, a judge who accepted bribes, and an umlimited defense budget and he would still have been found liable.

Regards,

Barb

Mary, Gary Dobry is perhaps the only person I've ever met who, based on personal experience, is a) not very bright, b) severely lacking common sense, c) quite unwilling to take personal responsibility, d) a chronic liar, and, worst of all, e) intensely malicious. The origin of the Zwebner lawsuit against Dobry was a thread Dobry created here on SI as "Spider Valdez" called "SPIDER & RICO'S 'NO-BASH' THREAD FOR LGCY !!!" (see siliconinvestor.com. The intent of the thread was to get Janice Shell, me, and others to do the opposite-- to bash the company and its controlling party in Zwebner. No, we didn't take the bait, so Dobry et al took to doing the "bashing" themselves, hence the lawsuit.

I must admit that I have no regard for Zwebner and downright contempt for the people who appear to do his bidding on Raging Bull. This is why despite the fact that if I could have my pick of any person to have a $1M judgment hanging over their head it would be Dobry, I still understand how certain people might think such an end result is quite unfortunate.
