Teresa,

I think that anybody that gives advice on trading should be compensated for it, as long as it is competent and timely.

One can never plan the entry and exit to a trade based upon reading a post by a more learned person. This can obviously turn some great trades into average trades and probably some good trades may actually fail because of time lags. It all depends upon the individuals time parameter for their trading style.

I scalp for the most part. I lose on great advice that is meant for position traders. I also lose when I go out to get what the UPS man has delivered. Funny how stepping away from the screen has never made me any money. One day I lost $200 because my dog likes to lick my hand when I'm wrapped around the puter mouse. One nose push and I was "in".......wrong time.... wrong price... wrong stock..... wrong market. As fast as I can move I could not get out without cost.

Every time you or another REAL trader gives advice there is a lost opportunity cost. I think you deserve to get paid for this time.
