I thought "God was my copilot but we crashed in the mountains and I had to eat him" was pretty funny. I wouldn't put it on my car- out of fear of the religious zealots out there- but it certainly made me chuckle.

And "feminism is the radical notion that women are people."

If that is all that is required then you can count me as a feminist. But I doubt that most people who consider themselves to be one would apply that label to me.

"And "feminism is the radical notion that women are people."

How do you define radical notion? Is it a radical notion that polution is bad? That children should be cared for by their parents? These are the kinds of things we uphold because there can be abuse by powerful entities whether individual, corporate, or institutional; but I wouldn't label these notions as radical.

I challenge you to prove that women in American society are not considered people in the mainstream culture. Since I don't think you can seriously accept that challenge, I will advance my opinion of feminism. It is the radical attempt to create a false impression of martyrdom, driven by a political agenda.
