Scumbria, the average British voter is disgusted with the health care system there, and desperately hoping someone can improve it. Blair has given them an intoxicating message that he can do it, but I have little doubt he will fail and the system will continue to decline.

When you completely monopolize a service, quality steadily declines, while cost accelerates. Where is the "urgency to change" built into the government controlled British health care system?

The answer is it doesn't exist, and America will continue to widen the gap regarding quality, advance medical equipment, techniques, medicine and availability as the years progress.

Is that why Blair has to act the apologist for France and Germany, and keep saying "No there will be no superstate?" Everytime the French open their traps, Tony has to do damage control.
