So you know what the TRUE GOD is, huh? Well please enlighten us then, Holy One. (what a crock, pul-leaze!) Oh and GOD is an American too huh? And a Southern Baptist Republican? Actually Jesus was a Jew and a radical who threatened to bring down an entire empire of rich white rulers enslaving "lesser" races. Jesus also spoke out against the greedy, the rich, the hypocrites who throw the first stone (inquest into Clinton's sex life, for example). Jesus was obviously a socialist, maybe even a communist (in its ideal sense sharing with everyone), and certainly a lover not a fighter. He spoke for peace, for passive resistance, for turning the other cheek and accepting all peoples as equals, forgiving people for their sins, and of course loving nature. Not worshipping nature just loving it and taking care of it. Love is the word. The Beatles sang about that. The 60's revolution was all about love. The Christian Right supports Bush/Cheney but let's look at Cheney. Very rich and gave 1% to charity. Voted against School Lunch, Freeing Nelson Mandela, Head Start. Voted for Automatic Weapons, maximum abuse of the environment, giving to the rich and taking from the poor. Maybe you're in the wrong party, Christians out there. because the compassion is definitely much more on the other side, for people, earth and peace among men.
