My personal belief is that we'll see the beginnings of a recovery in networking spending by early 2002, with a full swing recovery in progress by the end of 2002-early 2003. Until then, the stock will be in a range. My feeling is that things may also get temporarily worse in the next 6 mos or so, which may cause them to cut even more people and take more charges. I think the chances of that happening are around 40%. NT is not nearly as rounded in geography or product line as Cisco is, but unfortunately it's not just optical products that are hurting but all IT products in general and networking products in specific. This means Cisco is getting slugged with the rest of them. So I'd say maybe a brief lather in the next 6 months and then stabilization and a steady ramp upwards through 2003 in revenues. The stock is another matter. That's harder to guess.
