Jdsu had the following actions on Friday:

1,000 Jan(02)-50 puts at $37.80 premium
600 Jan(02)-60 puts at $47.80
600 Jan(02)-70 puts at $57.80
1,000 Jan(03)-100 puts at $87.80

So, I am thinking that some hedge funds with large short positions were selling the puts. That can be some win-win positions coz they can use the "free cash" from both shorting and the writting. But how about the other-side of those option trades, who was buying them?

Any thoughts? Inputs from anyone? thanks!!

No ties but some great books, DVDs, a frog statute for the patio and a monogrammed zippo lighter. I plan to bring my Screaming Eagle up to winebid.com this week for the auction started July 3rd. I am looking for a 9-10 bagger net of commissions!
