Boxer owns Halliburton? That's terrible! But I own energy stocks too. You'd be stupid not to with this administration in power. Halliburton was quite a buy last year though it has gone down some lately along with Cheney's credibility. So owning energy stocks is a sin now, huh? Hypocritical? Liberals aren't allowed to own them? So what can't conservatives own? Media stocks? Alternative energy stocks? Tech stocks? Maybe they should just own timber, mining, nuke, weapons systems, tobacco and oil stocks? Those are their main consituents afterall. Anything else and they should be branded hypocrites.

Get a clue, liberals are capitalists too. We're all Americans, right or left. Any politician should be able to invest in anything they want so long as they don't do that company's bidding at the public's expense, which is exactly what's happening in the Bush Administration. And never has it been so blatant and arrogant. Not since Nixon has accepting briefcases full of cash through CREEP. Although Reagan's S+L debacle did come close, though there were some Texas Dems involved in that too and even the father of Ted Kennedy's wife. Everyone likes to make money I guess. Some people just take it too far.
