The 2000-2001 election season oil-energy scandals will bring down the Bush White House. Just watch. The Senate is already starting to investigate and will be a hell of a lot more important an issue than Bill's BJ's or even Nixon's burglaries and slush funds. This time, unlike Reagan's S+L debacle when too many Dems were at the trough too, this is a purely Republican scandal. And it's a HUGE one. Story has only just begun to come out.

Any Democrat who happens to own oil stocks isn't guilty, anymore than I am or you are. That is a silly accusation. The true corruption is much bigger and more obvious.

The oil-energy industry/lobby/cartel is 100% pro-Bush. Not only did they create and fund Bush as a candidate but they used their candidate's victory to unleash the greatest manipulated phony energy shortage/gouging campaign in history. How you or anyone can defend them I don't know. People talk about California but the Midwest has been hit hardest along with the Rockies and East. Only Texas was unscathed by it.

Whatever the region, all Americans have been robbed big-time, and you will see someday that evidence will link the PLAN to do with this certain invidivuals very close to Bush with the candidate's tacit approval. Bush/Cheney (under Cheney's guidance mainly) awarded oil-energy backers for their 50 million in cash by basically looking the other way and even cheering while they went through all Americans pockets and helped dampen a fragile economy. They used all kinds of excuses but the fact is they raped us all and shook us down. Truly ugly that Bush suggested Americans use tax relief to pay their energy bills. Now you know where the money really goes. Into their own empowerment.

In fact it is high energy prices which are the primary source of economic troubles in the world today. One big reason profits are down and household budgets are tight. Still I am not anti energy companies. I am just anti abuse of power and corruption which is clearly the case here.
A true leader in the White House would fight for lower energy costs for all Americans. This one doesn't care. Because he is bought and paid for from the beginning, and not his own man.

Boxer's Halliburton stock has nothing to do with it, nor does Gore's mother's Oxy stock. That was another big LIE used as disinformation by the GOP dirty-politics crew to deflect the truth of their obvious guilt and dirty hands and try and blemish one of the most committed pragmatic environentalists who ever ran for president. Boxer nver voted for a pro-oil anti-environmental initiative in her life and neither has Gore.

Next step, watch for the Bush cover-up, an attempt to gradually distance him from the overly greedy and dishonest "energy crisis" which his supporters created and abused. He will also pose more and more as an environmentalist and energy hawk Cheney will be forced to soften his words. They will even do "compassionate" sounding things like offering energy relief to the poor. But it's all a false pose and big lie.

Bush and his handlers are just scared because they know that this could, might and should sink him and maybe the GOP in 2002 as well. The Toxic President. What a tag. But he owed the energy business so much he just had to let the pigs at the trough. But now they know Americans are catching onto the true culprits of their $35 fill-ups and tripling gas bills. All leading right to the Oval Office and into Cheney's dark manipulations.

Still I would buy oil stocks now and drive my car every day. That doesn't make me a hypocrite it just makes me realistic, defensive and a value investor. Afterall we have to drive and the oil company profits are enormous. I just want some of my money back after paying my own energy bills. Just being pragmatic here.
