<<Anyone I don't think any wildlife survives football stadiums and parking lots, but do live on golf courses, am I missing something here? >>

First stadiums are usually built in urban areas where there isn't any wildlife to begin with.

Golf courses are built on land that is marginal for farming, natural wildlife habitat. Build a golf course and the housing around it and you destroy 1,000 acres of habitat.

Secondly, the amount of poisonous chemicals used to maintain a golf course is astounding. Lots more chemicals than what are used in farming. Then you have the upscale homes around the course having turf care spray their yards 4 times a year. You can toss in the wasted water used to irrigate the yards and course too.
