Richard: In the heavy construction trades, I can't get enough of help. We have pipefitters, ironworkers, electricians, and boilermakers working on site, some from as far a way as Texas. Everyone is employed here and the union halls are empty. We usually can't get the numbers we need. Internally we had a real tough time hiring Instrument and Control Engineers, Mechanical type engineers and others. We usually can't get the numbers we need. My wife used to work as an accountant temp. and she gets a few calls a week asking if she is available. My neighbors and friends all seem to be working. My kids who are young teenagers are getting job offers for small jobs around town without even trying. I was going to retire last January and they begged me to stay another year or two. In view of what is happening in the market I decided to try to last a while longer. Not sure if that was a good move. Jim
