PCCW (0008-HK) closes Netvigator overseas version in B2C restructuring 11:38 16-JUN-2001 Pacific Century CyberWorks, controlled by Richard Li, has reportedly begun consolidating its B2C businesses although an announcement of the plan is not expected until the end of the month. Reports said the Hong Kong telecom and Internet giant has shut down the Taiwan version of its Netvigator portal next week and its Malaysia version few days ago. The Hong Kong version will be the only one left after the company closes down its North America version as well later this month. However, a PCCW representative said it is changing its operation model and the Taiwan version will return to operation on Monday. (End) ww5.e-finet.com
