We are just using different definitions of what constitutes a child and what it means to kill it. While technically a fetus is not at the "child" stage of development, it is undeniably, Human, and alive. Therefore you are in favor of causing these humans to cease living through conscious and direct means. In other words "you would kill the child!" Not after it was born perhaps but if you caught it before it got it's head fully out you could stick the scissors into it's head and that, according to you, would not be "killing a child". (and you think I'm cold?)

So are you going to answer my question about aborting Humans with Down's Syndrome? You do seem to be avoiding it.

As far as joy goes, your inference is unwarranted. As I already stated the joy was not mine, but that, which most parents of such children express. It's the same type of joy that all humans experience, a joy that comes from unconditional love, and from just being alive. The justification for not aborting handicapped children is the same reason as that for not aborting so called "normal" pregnancies. "IT"S THE PAINFUL AND UNWARRANTED KILLING OF AN INNOCENT HUMAN BEING". You happen to be in favor of the painful and unwarranted killing of innocent human beings, for any reason the woman sees fit, up to, and including the act of birth itself. You don't seem too proud of that fact. I wonder why?
