I'm not in favor of policing jla or anybody else. Let them police themselves. I prefer not to engage in name-calling and mindless flaming. I really wish everyone would do the same.

Sometimes even a peaceable man such as myself tends to get riled. When I do, I try to inject either some humor or some wit into my comeback, and I sincerely hope that I have never flamed anyone's person. If I have failed in this, I beg forgiveness.

Ideas are fair game, and there are many vulnerable ones out there.

For example, the very premise of this thread is patently ridiculous. Bush has committed no crimes nor misdemeanors, unlike our former president who surely committed many misdemeanors and quite possibly some crimes.

I have the impression the SI cops have gone to sleep since SI Bob left- -at least on the"personal attack" issue on the political threads. SI Bob's last act was in intervening in the war between LWP and RWET and that was the last time such a thing occurred on SI (as far as I know.)
