That's very true, until we experience an accident, we really don't know how we will react. I had a political open house at my house. I had a chaffing dish on the dining room table, and evidentially when I'd filled it some of the stuff had dripped down the leg of the chaffing dish...anyhow, it melted the chafing dish, fell on the table and caught fire...all the men stood there looking at it. I ran to get the fire extinguisher..yes, I did have one in my kitchen, in the mean time, my friend threw a wet dish towel on the fire, and put it out! We cleaned up the mess, and the men walked away rather sheepishly.
