i think what happened is this: a) the fact that he was prepared to finance additional equity capital for PAAS was rightly taken as a vote of continued confidence , and b)it prompted people to look at the co. who perhaps hadn't looked at it in a while. and it has recently doubled production at what may in hindsight turn out to have been a fortuitous moment to do so (catching a low in silver prices).
