Eric,

Does 800,000 subs increase his credibility?

Still no. Unicom is spending less than 2 bil for a networks over 13 mil, which is about 15 times of thier 800,000. Sprint is spending 600 to 700 mil in their 1x upgrade.

How big is Singapore? Half size of L.A? So that means they don't have to spend as much as of the wire, the BTS and MSC like the above two.

So even if they start everything from ground up. Let me know how credible about that over 500 mil should be.

Would this be indicative of the difficulty of operating CDMA in a GSM stronghold

I will be watching Unicom closely.
