elmatador and thread- Oh I forgot to mention that another of AFCI's former big customers was a MSO-Tellabs. Another surprising use for the UMC1000 was to aggregate cable telephony lines before sending off to the PSTN. I have no idea how the UMC does it, but apparently it did. They pushed NGDLC for years in the PRs. And as you accurately point out, NGDLC (DSL to remote cabinets) seems to be in neutral right now. Yikes! All depends upon the ILECs. So it's lucky for AFCI that their box does a lot of things. -MikeM(From Florida)
