Please, Illmarinen, this is a pipe dream. A HSCSD user has to use a brand spanking new time slot without the GSM error correction. How do you bill for the extra time slot that is quite possibly delivering data deficiently?

Are you going to ask the consumer to pay more for marginally faster service that is prone to error? Yes, I suppose, if you want to drive him or her from your network.

GPRSux so use HSCSD? I thought the evolution path was GSM/HSCSD/GPRSux. Your suggestion is to go backwards. In a non error-corrected mode?
