Everyone in the neighborhood knows this Q2 will be bad and they're looking for a turnaround starting Q3.

well, according to the following we ain't getting jack till the end of calendar 01!

Oracle Corp (ORCL) 14.84 -0.16: -- Update -- On call, said that a resumption to normal demand
not likely to happen until end of calendar 2001... geographically, seeing some indications that demand in
U.S. will be improving and thinks that while European business has softened a bit, it won't suffer the
same sharp downturn like that seen in the U.S.... Larry Ellison projects that it is reasonable to expect a
15-20% long-term growth rate in database business and sees no reason why applications business
couldn't return to 50-100% long-term growth rate... ORCL +1.26; related competitors include IBM
+1.23; MSFT +1.12; and BEAS +2.18
