The word that really separates me from you and from most others on this thread is "working." Well, actually, I do too. ANd I suspect most of the people on this thread do. So, while you're allowed to be proud of being a productive citizen, I don't think it distinguishes you from most of the other posters on this thread.

Well, congratulations on not always being wrong..... Personal bashing? I will review it, to see if I were mistaken, but my sense of humor left me comfortable that it was within the acceptable range of banter. I am sorry if it seemed too mean to you. Flap, most of the people on this thread work, including me. My situation is peculiar, because I elected (with about 20% of husbands) to be the home- caretaker, and therefore have a quite uneven flow of free- lance work. Others, it is true, are not "working class", even though they work, like jla, who heads his own law firm. Many of the participants I do not know enough about to say. But neither do you, and therefore you are being quite presumptuous........
