Hi Bill,

Yup here I sit with the Oracle I bot instead.ggggg

At least in after hours it was a good buy.

Really it is splitting hairs. I've never criticized my self for missing the bottom by 2,3,or even 5 points.Last time I sold out my Cohu I spaced it out in 43-46( after a 2for 1 split). It subsequently went to 62 3/4. With the position I had I left over a million bucks on the table.

In hind sight I'm tickled pink I clipped the coupon. Perfection is not even close to my goal. The 60 points I benefited from with a capital gain was just wonderful.

That's not to say I don't want to perfect or better my trading performance - I do.

Some times we get caught up in the DAILY administrivia of watching stocks. I think it is sometimes important to pull out the old M.C.Horsey monthly charts and say I bought it low - let the business cycle take its time and enjoy a full well balanced life.(I now have to watch out for lightning bolts coming from the heavens after typing that blasphemy)ggggg.

My point is buying JDSU now at a generally very depressed price is one of the best values a nonsophisticated investor can buy. Two to three years from now as the stock hits 35-50 most any investor would consider himself to have done well. How many investors will miss the buy because they were pursueing the perfect bottom and never saw it hit again.

I always buy too soon - hold with determination and the lord willing sell too early before the final top.I've never wanted to be perfect ,just suck up the fear and fight off the greed and one can do inordinately well in a life time of persistant reapplication of the wealth created. JMHO

These are the ramblings of an admittedly terrible day trader, but yet fortunate long term positional trader.

What is hard to do is remember your long term game plan over the long term.

P.S. Thanks for the good advice. We pierced thru to a new low today on big volume. If it did 10.44 ,it almost has to lick nine just for the effect and adrenalin rush that will pulse thru all owners. Man I've had my share of those heat flashes.I can just about feel one just thinking about it and I don't own any Jdsu - YET - gulp.

I'm getting really weak and feeling a overiding obsessive compulsion to catch fine cutlery.Maybe I should just get a night job as a butcher.GGGGG
