Kids, and especially boys, do the darnest things...One Sunday 7AM, we were awakened hearing a huge THUD...then wwwwwwaaaaaaaahhhhhh... Both of us bounded out of bed, thundered down the hall, and turns out the boys had been playing Batman and Robin.... Robin thought he could fly from the top bunk.... The worst was, we couldn't see much wrong, except he was scared...so were we, and so were the other two boys....saucer big eyes..... Didn't know till later that afternoon, when we finally took him to the hospital that it was a broken collarbone.... Guess I thought that if something serious like a broken collarbone happened, there would be blood...or something. No blood.... There should be a class or two in Growing up with BOYS 101... They did things it NEVER occurred to girls to do...how could you tell them NOT to do something, if you never thought they would do it in the first place?
