I've had good luck owning a "one two punch" such as IBM/HWP (bought in 1980's and 1990's) and AMAT/LRCX (bought between 1995 and 1998) where one is the "giant" and the other is "great managment and technollgy that tries harder..." I buy the ones with better valuation when compelling like your target buys. I will also be buying AMAT with a 2nd home loan if needed AND if it gets down to low $20's.... so I understand your waiting... why chase if you have great core picks?

LRCX, I thought they might be going after SFAM for the best CMP machine since the value of SFAM is now much less than the $200M LRCX has applied for... That might give them a leading edge in two technologies..
