Hi Kastel

The reason I accepted the US currency in exchange for the Timmins Daily Press was I feared the cold war. The impending financial collapse in the early seventies was alive and well back then, even in the mind of a 12 year old.

As a kid, me and a few friends used to practice war games. We felt it would hone our fighting skills against the Russians :)

At the time plastic guns and wooden hand grenades were the "soupe de jour." Now we practice our war games with our computers and brokerage accounts.

Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose...

Regards
Frank P.
